Round Connect · the platform for group-training studios
The right signal to the right person. In every group class.
Round Connect is software for group fitness studios, and at its centre is the Signaller. It turns what clients tell you, who is in the room and how they are moving into clear signals for the coach, the client and the owner — on a tablet, a phone, the studio screen or a light on the machine. It never decides for anyone.
Free for one studio · No card · Signals, not decisions
Round Connect Reformer · for reformer Pilates studios
Every client trains their own way. Safely. In the same class.
Round Connect Reformer remembers what each client should be careful with and adapts your reformer class to who’s in the room. No cameras. No new booking system. Works on the reformers you already have.
Free for small studios · Running in partner studios · Clients never pay
For indoor cycling studios
Every rider in their own range. In the same class.
Round Connect reads each rider’s cadence and turns it into a short, personal signal — on their tile, on the instructor’s tablet (and on a Wear OS watch (in pilot)), in the owner’s weekly digest. Works with the bikes you already have.
Free for small studios · Works with the bikes you have · Riders never pay
For boxing and martial arts studios
Ready for the next step. Not a round before.
Round Connect remembers who is cleared for sparring and who took a knock to the head — and turns it into short signals for the coach and the member, with an email to a junior’s parents when it matters. Belts and gradings are in development. The coach always decides.
Free for small studios · Boxing, BJJ, judo and boxing fitness · Members never pay
For functional gyms and HIIT studios
Everyone’s own version of the class. Heavy only when ready.
Round Connect gives every person their own version of today’s class, tells the coach who isn’t recovered before the barbell, and remembers every weight.
Free for small studios · Works with the straps you have · Members never pay
For yoga, barre and mat Pilates studios
Know your class before the first breath. A quiet word, one pose ahead.
Round Connect Flow knows who is on which mat — first time, a sensitive neck, 24 weeks pregnant, no hands-on today — and reminds the teacher one pose before it matters, on their watch (in development). No screens in the room.
Free for small studios · No new hardware needed · Members never pay
For indoor rowing classes
Technique on every rower. One rhythm for the crew.
The monitor already sends every stroke. Round Connect Rowing turns it into a hint on each rower’s tile — “lower the damper”, “slower up the slide” — and a signal for the instructor when a stroke falls apart: on the tablet today, on a Wear OS watch (in pilot). Then the class rows in rhythm with the stroke.
Free for small studios · No new hardware needed · Members never pay
For gyms that train people for fitness races
To the finish healthy. And still training a year later.
Readiness before the ticket, the week’s load against each person’s usual, signals at simulations, and a next goal after the race — so your members finish healthy and stay.
Free for small studios · Any race brand · Members never pay

Signaller
Three people. Three kinds of signal.
For the coach
Before class, a brief: who is new, who is back, who should be careful with what, and who is on which line. During class, one plain line when someone needs attention. In pilot
For the client
Their own option, their own zone, and permission to stop — on their phone, on the studio screen or as a light on the machine. Never anyone else’s reason. In development
For the owner
Who used to come regularly and has stopped, whether every instructor teaches the signature class the same way, and records that show you care. In pilot
People decide: the instructor leads the class, the client can always stop, the owner runs the studio. How the Signaller works →
One platform for group fitness studios. A product for each kind.
Reformer — reformer Pilates
Every client trains their own way, safely, in the same class. Pilot
Cycle — indoor cycling
Every rider in their own cadence range; the instructor gets only the signals that need action. Pilot
Combat — boxing & martial arts
Every sparring pair checked, every head knock remembered, the way to the first sparring in sight. Pilot
Functional — functional training & HIIT
Everyone’s own version of the class, a signal before the heavy station, every weight remembered. Pilot
Flow — mat Pilates, yoga, barre
A quiet assistant for the teacher: the mat map, a reminder one pose ahead, consent to touch, before/after. Pilot
Rowing — indoor rowing
Technique on every rower, a signal when a stroke falls apart, a crew in one rhythm. Pilot
Race — fitness races
Care around the hype: readiness before the ticket, the week’s load, signals at simulations, life after the race. Pilot
What it solves
The same problems, in every kind of studio

- Regulars who keep progressing — and a signal before they fade
- Safety you can show — a record that the studio acted with care
- The same class, whoever teaches — your method on the screen
- Hours that earn — and one standard across every location

Why it matters
A studio’s method lives in its classes — and today it depends on who is on shift.
One instructor demonstrates from the front, another talks over the music, a substitute forgets a block. Members lose the thread on unfamiliar exercises, and new instructors take weeks to teach your format the way you do. Round Connect puts the method on the screen, so every class runs the way you designed it.
The core · library
Your exercise library, on every screen
Each exercise carries its demo video, the default springs for your apparatus, level and reps. In class the video plays on the studio screen in sync with the timer, with a short cue in large type — springs, breathing, focus.
- Reformer, tower, chair, barrel and mat in one library
- A starter classical repertoire of 30 exercises, added in one click In development
- Your own demo videos from Vimeo; the next exercise is previewed during transitions
The core · screen and timer
A class screen that keeps its own time
Exercises, rounds, rests and transitions run on your programme, with sounds at every change. The instructor’s tablet is the remote: pause, add 30 seconds or move on, and the screen and video follow.
- The same signature class, whoever is teaching
- Programmes saved as templates
- Circuits: up to nine stations on screen at once
Round Connect Reformer · before class
Walk into class already knowing who to watch
Clients tell Round Connect Reformer once what to be careful with — or tap “just today” at check-in. Before class the instructor sees two or three lines that fit who’s in the room, and who is on which reformer.
- One class, two or three lines — not twelve
- Pain means stop: any “it hurt” changes the plan for that person
- No cameras; only instructors see the reasons

Coach signals: see who needs attention
Add standard heart-rate straps and the instructor gets three quiet signals: someone has stayed near their maximum too long, isn’t recovering in the rests, or is holding back. Newcomers are flagged sooner.
- Most useful in combat, functional classes and race simulations
- One plain line per person on the tablet
- No points, no calories

Who to watch, before the lights go down
The brief has first-timers and returners by bike number. During the ride you see only what needs you — “Bike 9 has stopped” — on the tablet today, on a Wear OS watch (in pilot). Nothing goes on top of your show.

Pairs by data, not by eye
Suggested sparring pairs with your club’s limits for weight, experience and age, who is out of contact today, and who at the bags isn’t recovering in the rest — on the tablet today, on a Wear OS watch (in pilot). You decide; every decision is recorded as yours.

History that builds itself
Every class is saved without anyone pressing a button: who came, the programme, and — with straps — heart rate. The studio sees who used to come regularly and has stopped.
- Attendance and the last class for every member
- Second-by-second data for 90 days. After that, paid plans keep one point per 15 seconds and the free plan keeps the class summary. Summaries are kept for good
- A short note for the instructor when something stood out
- Export to CSV whenever you need it

What we deliberately leave out
Each of these makes a demo look busier and a class worse.
- Points, post-class rankings and leaderboards
- “Calories burned” — no wearable measures them honestly (why)
- Levels, badges and engagement mechanics
- Booking and scheduling — you already have a system for that

Questions about Round Connect
Can the cue show spring settings?
Yes. Each exercise has a short line in large type — springs, breathing, focus, anything up to 120 characters.
Which bikes work?
Bikes that broadcast cadence over Bluetooth or ANT+ connect as they are; where a bike doesn’t, a small cadence sensor goes on the crank. Tell us which bikes you have — the pilot covers several brands.
Does it help with head knocks in sparring?
Yes — that’s the heart of it. A suspected knock takes the person out of contact for the whole club, and every coach sees the day count. It doesn’t diagnose anything: the coach decides, and a doctor when there are symptoms. More on safety
How many stations can a circuit have?
Up to nine on screen at once, each with its own looping video.
What is the Signaller?
The part of Round Connect that turns data — what clients told the studio, who is in the room, heart rate and power, feedback after class — into signals for the coach, the client and the owner. It can be an app, a device on the machine, or both. It explains where each signal comes from and never decides for anyone.
Do we need heart-rate straps?
No. Pilates and most video classes run on video, cues and timers alone. Add straps when you want intensity on screen and signals for the instructor — most useful in combat, functional classes, hot yoga and fitness race simulations. Bikes and rowers send their own data.
Where do the exercise videos come from?
Your own demo videos, linked from Vimeo: your instructors, your method, your equipment. A starter classical repertoire of 30 exercises with default springs is being added to the library (in development). We can help you plan what to film. Vimeo links are the main way to add video, with no size limit; you can also upload your own video files of up to 95 MB each, by subscription.
Do members need to install an app?
No. The class runs on the studio screen or on the coach’s watch and phone. Members who want their history can scan the QR code once.
Will it replace our booking system?
No. Round Connect runs the class itself. Your booking, payments and CRM stay as they are.
Is it ready for my studio today?
The core — video classes, round timers, circuits and heart-rate signals — works end to end in partner studios today. Reformer, Cycle, Combat, Functional, Flow, Rowing and Race start with their first partner studios, and new features reach every studio as they ship. Live data from bikes and rowers is tested with real equipment in the pilot.
